Happiness Starts with Us: Celebrating International Day of Happiness at Amsterdam Manor Beach Resort
At Amsterdam Manor Beach Resort, happiness is found in the moments we pause, connect, and truly enjoy where we are. In celebration of the International Day of Happiness on March 20, 2026, we are proud to join Aruba’s island-wide initiative that encourages everyone to embrace the present and live in the moment.
This year’s theme highlights the importance of mindfulness, authentic storytelling, and the positive use of technology to foster well-being and genuine human connection. It reminds us that happiness often begins when we take a moment to reflect, appreciate where we are, and share meaningful experiences with others.
Two Days of Celebrating Happiness
Our Happiness Day celebration will take place over two days, creating opportunities for guests to connect, reflect, and enjoy joyful moments together.
Managers Cocktail Pre-Celebration
The festivities begin on March 19 during our regular Managers’ Cocktail Party, where guests can enjoy a festive gathering and a relaxed social atmosphere. This pre-celebration offers the perfect opportunity to meet members of the management team and begin the Happiness Day experience.
Happiness Day Celebration at the Happiness Corner
The main celebration will take place on March 20 under the gazebo at Amsterdam Manor Beach Resort.
For the occasion, the gazebo will transform into our “Happiness Corner”, a dedicated space designed to reflect the theme of mindfulness and living in the moment.
At the heart of the Happiness Corner will be a mirror photo booth, inviting everyone to pause, look at themselves, and remember that happiness starts with us. The mirror represents a simple but powerful reminder: when we take a moment to appreciate the present and reflect on our experiences, we create space for genuine happiness.
Guests will also capture joyful vacation moments and share authentic stories with friends and family. By using technology in a positive way, these shared moments help spread happiness and connection far beyond the resort.
A Festive Afternoon of Connection
Guests will be welcomed with a complimentary welcome drink, while hors d’oeuvres will be served throughout the celebration.
Music from the AMBR Happiness Day playlist will set the tone for the afternoon, creating a cheerful and uplifting environment.
To close the celebration on a high note, a brass band and dancers will arrive at the end of the event filling the space with vibrant island rhythms and leading the joyful finale of the event.
