About the Amsterdam Manor Beach Resort
Built in December 1989 by the famous Dutch architect Jan Hubert, our resort started with only 49 rooms and has since passed from father to son, ensuring a family-owned personal touch over our grounds. Our property, with its unique Dutch Colonial appearance, has been owned and managed by the Dutch family Van Schaijk and it is located at one of Aruba’s most beautiful beaches on Aruba, namely Eagle Beach.
Over the decades the family Van Schaijk, together with an enthusiastic, hospitable and hard-working team have been able to run a successful and popular hotel, leading to a large group of loyal returning guests, which have become important members of our family.
Looking at the expansive size of its accommodations, undoubtedly comfort was of most importance for the developers. Other important factors on what makes our property so special is its location, its architecture and management.
Located on Aruba’s west coast, our resort is constructed in such a way that the sunset can be enjoyed in its full glory throughout from every corner of our property. We are secluded from the high-rise hotels and their beaches but not far away from all the general tourist facilities. The distance to the high rise and low-rise hotels, casinos and nightclubs is approximately half a mile. Various restaurants are within walking range. Our resort is also minutes away from the main shopping areas. In the event you would need to visit a hospital, that is only a quarter mile away.
Our classical Dutch architectural structure is the combination of old-world charm with the most modern comfort to be found. Our accommodations are truly luxurious that ranges from our studios that sleeps two to our Two-Bedroom suites that can accommodate up to six persons. All rooms offer unique elegant furnishings, a colonial tropical setting, spacious balconies or terraces, full equipped kitchens and a relaxing holiday atmosphere.
Developed and managed by its owners, ensuring personal supervision on daily management and guaranteeing guest satisfaction is of utmost importance. We pride ourselves on unparalleled service and our small quant property size ensure personal attention to all.
