The competition was very strong as our Aruba and Amsterdam Manor lovers are quite passionate. So much so that, with permission of the finalists, we also included their thoughtful stories.

Ms. Carolina Span

These times have turned many of our plans upside down including our wedding plans and entirely erasing the possibility to go on a honeymoon. This 3-night-stay could be our honeymoon staycation with one of the best views in the whole world, Eagle Beach Aruba. If we would win the 3-night stay at Amsterdam Manor we would love to enjoy some relaxing time together by the beach floating away on the Amsterdam Manor floats as we reflect on these very peculiar times we are going through. We would spend some time enjoying the fact that we can bring our 4-pawed girl to enjoy this stay together with us and have some real fun on the white sand. We would also enjoy a romantic dinner at Passions on the Beach which is where we got engaged to celebrate our new life together. We would also have breakfast at the beach deck, just breathing in and enjoying every moment on our beautiful island of Aruba.

Ms. Andrea Johnson

When I arrive at Amsterdam Manor, I will enjoy a glass of prosecco on the gorgeous patio in front of my room. (I’ll need it after the long flight from Minnesota!) This will be followed by one of Peter’s amazing cocktails, and then dinner at Passions on the Beach just as the sun dips below the horizon. (The best view in the world.) The next couple of days will be brimming with joy. I will awake bright and early for meditation at the Butterfly Farm, just a quick walk from the resort. Hours will be spent floating in the ocean and watching the waves at Eagle Beach, merely a few steps away. I’ll stop by SuperFoods, just a couple of blocks away, for favorite treats that I cannot find in the states, like kokosmakronen per stuks and cashew punt. And I’ll definitely pet some cute little asses at the Donkey Sanctuary.

(sorry – couldn’t resist). Looking forward to my trip already! Thank you so much for providing such a wonderful resort and for this opportunity!

If my son & I were to spend 3 extra days in Aruba with you, it would be magical. I always felt our first trip was too short and dream about going back all the time. We’d spend every morning having breakfast at the resort then get ready for a dip in the pool or go relax at the beach. Our favorite spot was the swing  we’d also go visit the butterfly farm again( we love butterflies!) and then come back for dinner at passions. Also take the bus to catch the trolley around town just like last time! Maybe now that my son is a little bigger we can make plans to visit another attraction- who knows! Your hotel was absolutely perfect for a single parent with a child, felt very safe and welcomed. We’ll never stay anywhere else !

Thank you again to all participants and their unique stories. We look forward to your next visit to Aruba and to the Amsterdam Manor Beach Resort. Be safe!
