Sustainability Intern

About the Role:
The Sustainability Intern supports the daily work of our Sustainability team and contributes to environmental projects across the resort. If you are passionate about sustainability and want to help create positive environmental change, this internship gives you practical experience within an internationally recognized sustainable resort.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support EarthCheck certification activities and sustainable hospitality practices
• Assist with environmental reporting and sustainability metrics
• Contribute to waste, energy, and water reduction initiatives
• Help run employee engagement and sustainability awareness campaigns
• Support sustainable event planning and community initiatives
• Assist with data collection, analysis, and reporting

Requirements:

• MBO or HBO education in Sustainability, Environmental Studies, Hospitality Management, Tourism, Business, or a related field
• Passion for sustainability and responsible tourism
• Computer and technology savvy
• Creative thinker with strong organizational skills
• Good analytical and reporting skills
• Strong communication skills in English (Dutch, Spanish, and/or Papiamento are an advantage)
• Eager to learn and contribute to sustainability initiatives
