About the Role:
The General Manager provides operational and strategic leadership across every part of the business. This hands-on role balances guest engagement, employee development, commercial performance, and long-term planning. You work closely with department leaders to keep service standards high and the guest experience personal.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the overall operations of Amsterdam Manor Beach Resort and MVC
Develop and execute business plans that drive growth and profitability
Inspire and develop department leaders and build a culture of accountability
Deliver exceptional guest experiences through operational excellence and personalized service
Oversee financial performance, revenue management, budgeting, and business planning
Partner with Sales and Marketing to strengthen brand positioning and commercial results
Ensure compliance with health, safety, sustainability, and operational standards
Build strong relationships with guests, business partners, and the local community

Requirements:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Business Management, or a related field
Minimum 15 years of senior hotel management experience
Proven experience leading full-service hotel or resort operations
Strong financial management, budgeting, revenue management, and strategic planning skills
Extensive Food and Beverage operational knowledge
Strong leadership, coaching, and people development capabilities
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
Fluent in English and Dutch
Knowledge of the Caribbean hospitality market is an advantage
Flexible to travel and work as business needs require
