Bartender
About the Role:
Join Amsterdam Manor Beach Resort as a Bartender, where you’ll play a vital role in our food and beverage operations. In this position, you’ll prepare and serve beverages to guests at the bar and pool area while creating a welcoming atmosphere through friendly, attentive, and professional service. Your attention to detail will help ensure smooth operations and an exceptional guest experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and standards.
- Provide friendly, attentive, and professional service to guests at the bar and pool area.
- Take orders accurately and process payments correctly.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked bar.
- Comply with all hygiene, food-safety, and workplace-safety standards.
- Assist guests with menu recommendations and respond professionally to requests.
- Work closely with the Food & Beverage team to ensure efficient service.
- Help create a welcoming atmosphere and a memorable guest experience.
Requirements:
- EPI Hospitality Degree and certified Mixologist Training required
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience, preferably within the hospitality industry
- Fluent in English, Dutch, Spanish, and Papiamento
- Strong understanding of guest service needs
- Neat and professional appearance
- Friendly, polite, and able to work well within a team
- Able to work under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude
- Flexible with working hours and able to follow instructions
