HR Coordinator

About the Role:
The HR Coordinator supports the daily operations of the Human Resources Department by coordinating recruitment, onboarding, payroll administration, employee records, and HR communications. The role assists with employee relations, orientation, engagement initiatives, and company events while ensuring accurate HR administration and compliance with company policies. The HR Coordinator also supports employer branding through internal communications and HR social media, contributing to an organized, efficient, and people-focused HR department.
 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support daily HR operations, including payroll, attendance, employee records, and HR systems. 
  • Prepare HR reports, correspondence, presentations, and documentation. 
  • Create internal communications and recruitment content. 
  • Support recruitment, onboarding, orientation, and offboarding. 
  • Coordinate employee events, recognition, wellness, and engagement initiatives. 
  • Maintain accurate and confidential employee information. 
  • Assist employees and collaborate with department heads on HR matters. 
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and labor requirements. 
  • Perform other HR and administrative duties as required.

Requirements:

  • Fluent in English, Dutch, Papiamento, and Spanish, both written and spoken. 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint), with experience using HRIS, Payroll Pro, time and attendance systems, and other digital HR platforms. 
  • Experience using Canva or similar graphic design software to create flyers, presentations, newsletters, and employee communications. 
  • Familiarity with social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and TikTok) and the ability to create engaging content that supports recruitment, employer branding, and employee engagement. 
  • Creative mindset with the ability to plan, coordinate, and execute employee events, recognition programs, and engagement initiatives. 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build positive working relationships across all levels of the organization. 
  • Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. 
  • High level of confidentiality, professionalism, attention to detail, and accuracy when handling sensitive employee information. 
  • Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and customer service skills with a proactive and positive approach. 
  • Ability to work independently while contributing effectively as part of a collaborative team
